This year’s Republic Day celebration is special in that it comes in the 75th year of Independence currently being celebrated as Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav (AKAM).The event commenced with the unfurling of the National flag by High Commissioner His Excellency Rakesh Kumar Arora followed by the National Anthem of India. Thereafter, the High Commissioner read out excerpts from the address of Honorable President of India to the nation on the eve of Republic Day
