On the occasion of the holy festival of Eid al-Adha, Hon’ble Prime Minister of India, Mr. Narendra Modi, through a personal letter to His Excellency Brig. (Rtd.) Dr. Julius Maada Wonie Bio, President of the Republic of Sierra Leone, extended warm greetings, on his own behalf and on behalf of the people of India, to His Excellency Brig. (Rtd.) Dr. Julius Maada Wonie Bio and to the friendly people of the Republic of Sierra Leone.
In his personal letter, the Prime Minister of India conveyed that the sacred festival of Eid al-Adha is celebrated by millions of Muslims across the length and breadth of India. It reminds us of the values of sacrifice, compassion and brotherhood, which are essential in building a peaceful and inclusive world that we all aspire for.
